Princeton Junction & Hamilton Station: Temporary Boarding Changes Due to Ongoing Track Work – Friday, July 16 to Monday, July 19, 2021
Beginning at 10PM on Friday, July 16 and continuing until 5AM Monday, July 19, boarding/alighting at Hamilton Station and Princeton Junction will be affected by Amtrak infrastructure work.
During this time, Track 1 will be out of service at both stations, and eastbound trains will board/alight on alternate tracks using low-level extended platforms. As a result, there may be slightly longer station stops and minor delays due to the precise positioning of trains required by low-level extended platforms.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ADA CUSTOMERS
During this time, level-boarding will not be available for eastbound trains at Hamilton and Princeton Junction Stations.
Shuttle-bus service will be provided to accommodate customers requiring level boarding to New Brunswick and from the Trenton Transit Center.
Customers requiring level boarding may also consider utilizing nearby accessible stations such as New Brunswick or the Trenton Transit Center. NJ TRANSIT buses provide service near Hamilton Station (No. 608) and Princeton Junction (No. 600) during certain hours. See the Bus Point-to-Point page for full details.
