A case study in Pittsburgh

An advocate I know in Philadelphia sent an article to me. It's about neighborhood advocates in Pittsburgh who fought against a transit project that would spend a lot of money, yet it would not improve mobility in their neighborhood (according to them, anyway). Their view seems to be gaining traction, and they have a chance of winning.

I suggest that you check this article out, as an example of strong advocacy that might be effective. The link is https://transitcenter.org/pittsburghers ... e-machine/.
