Rahway Station: Eastbound Staircases Closed for Repairs - Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, the staircase at the far west end of the Eastbound Platform (Milton Avenue), and the staircase at the far east end of the Eastbound Platform (Irving Street) at Rahway Station are temporarily out of service for repairs.

To access the Eastbound Platform during this time, customers may use the central plaza entrance at Irving and E. Milton streets, containing stairs and the central Eastbound Elevator.

Penn Station New York: 32nd Street & 7th Avenue Entrance Temporarily Closed - Effective February 22, 2023

Effective February 22nd and continuing until further notice, the 32nd Street and 7th Avenue entrance at Penn Station New York will be closed due to renovations.

During this time, customers may use the escalator and elevator at the 7th Avenue and 31st Street entrance, or the escalator at the 7th Avenue and 33rd Street entrance.

Hamilton Station: Westbound Escalator Temporarily Out of Service for Long-Term Upgrade Work - Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, Escalator No. 4, one of the escalators serving the Westbound Platform (toward Trenton side) at Hamilton Station is temporarily out of service for a long-term upgrade and enhancement project.

During this time, customers may use the nearby elevator or stairs to access the pedestrian tunnel to the platforms.

Station Navigation Notes:

If you require accessible services, please check the Elevator Status page before starting your trip.
Note that adjacent Escalator No. 3 may be briefly taken out of service for maintenance during this project.
For your safety, please follow posted signage, do not travel through barricaded areas and do not use closed escalators as stairs.
Please allow for extra time to navigate the station and board your train.

New Brunswick Station: Eastbound and Westbound Staircases to Street Level Temporarily Closed for Repairs – Effectively Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, the following staircases have been closed due to repairs:

Eastbound (to Newark/New York) Platform: West end staircase (Eastern Avenue and Route 27)
Westbound (to Trenton) Platform: East end staircase (Somerset and George streets)

During this time, customers are advised to use other available elevators and staircases to enter and exit the station.

North Jersey Coast Line: Possible Delays due to Perth Amboy Station Reconstruction – Saturday, February 18, 25, March 4, 11, 2023

Possible delays up to 10 minutes

On the following Saturdays, February 18, 25, and March 4, 11, North Jersey Coast Line trains will be subject to delays of up to 10 minutes from 7AM until 4PM due Perth Amboy Station Reconstruction.

Eastbound from South Amboy to New York
Westbound trains from Perth Amboy to Long Branch, including connecting Bay Head shuttles.

Also during this period, trains will operate on Track 1 (normal westbound track – to Long Branch/Bay Head) in both directions at South Amboy and Perth Amboy.
